Job Description:

This position will be responsible for handling many different clients, both local and nationally, to help collect, process, and present information to ensure that our clients pay the fewest amount of taxes possible. Requirements also include extensive people, communication, and management skills as you oversee the tax reporting and filing of clients. Successful applicants will thrive in a collaborative work environment, will be comfortable working through the early stage of business, as well as establishing processes and procedures that add value to our company and clients.
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year + Benefits
Essential Responsibilities

• Review and verify tax documents for the completion of proper tax filings
• Gather appropriate materials regarding yearly tax instructions and forms to accurately prepare tax returns
• Work closely with clients to obtain accurate, complete, and pertinent tax and personal information
• Communicate with clients via email, phone, and in person or virtual meetings the status of tax preparation and filings
• Meet with clients to review data and address questions or concerns regarding the tax forms and paperwork
• Collaborate with team members and other financial professionals for both tax filings and planning meetings
• Hold yourself and other team members to high levels of confidentiality, customer service and creativity
• Be a positive influence for our Tax and Accounting teamsQualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA or EA designation licensed
  • 2 Years of Tax Accounting experience
  • 2 years of professional experience working with confidential and sensitive information
  • Comfortable using technology including virtual appointments with clients
  • Experience managing paperwork and softwares
  • Ability to communicate effectively and simply to clients and team members
  • Skilled using tax preparation and management softwares and troubleshooting common tax program challenges
  • Professional understanding and implementation of the best accounting strategies and advanced mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of tax law procedures, and best practices
  • Creative thinking abilities
