$14.00 - $16.55 PER HOURGENERAL PURPOSE:The purpose of this position is to ensure the accurate accounting of sales, purchases and labor for the Distribution Center and also provide support to Distribution Center associates. This person will be preparing financial spreadsheets and reports, reconciling purchases and payments received, sending and paying invoices and preparing shrink and inventory tracking spreadsheets.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures Ensures the accuracy of all accounting done at the Distribution Center Reconciles cash, checks and credit card receipts with the IBM report Prepares the balance sheet and cash sheet for the Distribution Center Prepares and sends invoices to our stores Prepares weekly sales reports Pays vendor invoices Prepares shrink spreadsheets Delivers excellent customer service to all customers Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner Sets a professional and positive example to others Communicates openly and frequently with the Floral Sales Director and Distribution Store Director Assists as needed to ensure the success of the Store as a wholeMARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs other job-related duties as assignedNATURE OF WORK CONTACTS: Consistent and daily interaction with store associates Consistent and daily interaction with customers Consistent and daily interaction with vendorsTRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
