ProgramOverviewThe DSS Cash Application Specialist supports the
dealerships through the reconciling, posting, and deposit of
accounts receivable payments; reporting of exceptions, management
of suspense accounts.Reconciliation of checks, ACH and credit card
payments receivedVerify each invoice paid on remittance advice
comparative to account status in CDKContact customers that do not
include remittance to determine what payment is forPayment Posting/
Process ACH BatchesAccurately post each deposit for the correct
platform and GL.Identify and correct any out of balance situations
within a depositResolution of suspense accountsPartner with
dealership locations to research and apply monies received for
items not in ARReportingMaintain logs of incoming payments,
reconcile to daily deposits.AdministrativePartner with new accounts
for record keeping projects,Partner with collections on customer
communication initiativesCross train on all desks within AR
officeRequirements / Education / Experience:Able to work in a team
settingAble to communicate effectively with all levels of
personnelAble to communicate effectively with customers & quickly
accommodate requestsHigh school diploma requiredSome college work
preferred but not requiredExperience with Microsoft Office Suite
with emphasis in Excel (VLOOKUP's & Pivot Tables) and
OutlookPrevious experience in cash receipts/posting of
payments/reporting of open itemsPrevious experience with
research/issue resolutionDealership experience preferred but not
required
