are looking for someone in either Utah or Colorado. This position
is full time, in either the Lehi, UT or Denver, CO office.The
Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for a variety of tasks
within the Accounting and Finance department, including revenue
recognition, completing financial reports timely, records, and
general ledgers, preparing and analyzing budget and projections as
well as all other general accounting duties. This position will
work closely with the Office Managers and various operations
personnel. This position will report directly to the Divisional
Controller based in Lehi, UT. Sr. Staff Accountant
Responsibilities
- Initial preparation of monthly financial statements, including
Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows
- Owner of the of the month end closing process for multiple
divisions
- Ensure all accounts are timely and accurately reconciled to the
General Ledger monthly
- Ensure supporting details for general ledger accounts are
maintained, and adjustments made as appropriate timely and
accurately each month
- Assist with Inventory reconciliations and records management
pertaining to inventory. Participate in the month end closing
inventory processes
- Maintain and report on all cash activities; validating Treasury
reports daily / weekly
- Maintain Fixed Asset listing including records of acquisitions
and disposals
- Prepare business personal property tax reporting and any other
required tax reporting
- Prepare and file sales tax returns in all applicable venues.
Update rates and maintain records from clients as required
- Perform and/or oversee monthly bank reconciliations
- In coordination with HR; review and record payroll tax journal
entries from third party payroll processor
- Assist with the farm and collections accounting tracking and
reporting
- Ensure compliance with all Company accounting and finance
policies and procedures
- Prepare and deliver documentation, reconciliations and
workpapers for external auditors as requested
- Completion of any other projects requested by Management team
Working Conditions:While this is an office position, please note
that you will be required to work near an environment containing

- Strong understanding of GAAP and principals of Accrual
accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with an
emphasis in Excel.
- Ability to work independently and in a team
environment.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a minimum of five years
experience preferred
- ERP with Integrated Accounting software experience required,
Sage Intacct or equivalent
- Inventory experience/manufacturing or equivalent required
- A/P and/or A/R Management experience a plusCompensation
