Title: Administrative Assistant
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Department: Construction
Reports To: V.P. of Construction
EDGEhomes, Utah's premier home builder, is hiring a full-time
Administrative Assistant to join our Customer Service Team.
PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the Construction Vice President, this
position will require a full range of administrative, office
support, reporting, warranty, and scheduling duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work directly with customers, construction personnel, and sales
agents, to schedule and follow up on homeowner orientation walk
throughs
Preparation and organization of documents and reports as
required
Provide general office support, including but not limited to
scanning, copying, faxing and printing
Establish and maintain paper and electronic filing systems
Coordinate reproduction and delivery of construction documents
Answers phone calls with regards to inquiries, researching and
resolving problems requiring knowledge of department policies and
procedures
Coordinate home inspection scheduling and orientation walk through
scheduling
Receive, track, delegate, and follow up on warranty / customer
service requests
Communicate efficiently and professionally in verbal and written
form
Cultivate relationships of trust and confidence with customers,
construction personnel, and sales agents
Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient with technology including Microsoft excel and scheduling
software
Detail-oriented and organized
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities and
schedules well
Strong written, verbal, organizational and communication skills
Proficient with technology and ability to use technology including
iPads, smart phones, scheduling software, Microsoft programs
etc.
Team player. Able to work effectively with others and manage their
workloads
Ability to be professional especially under pressure.
Effective in managing multiple assignments and requests with an
emphasis on time management. - Self-directed, organized, and
professional
Valid driver's license and access to personal transportation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive and
understand and recall information including detailed policies,
procedures, and workflows
Visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents
Frequent talking including communication with employees and
homeowners
The ability to convey detailed or important instructions or ideas
accurately and in a timely manner.
This is a full-time, M-F position. Wage commensurate with
experience. - Hiring contingent upon passing a background check and
