Progressive Leasing is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and experience necessary to help us deliver elastic, efficient, fault-tolerant, and secure platforms for our industry leading SaaS products. In this role, you will work with other dedicated Systems Engineers and share responsibility for the design, implementation, and support of our expanding physical and virtual server infrastructure spanning several geographically diverse offices and data centers.This role can be performed remotely anywhere in the US or from one of our two office locations in Draper, UT or Glendale, AZ.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* Have a strong working knowledge of continuous integration and delivery in the Agile context* Research, evaluate, and recommend architectural improvements and new technologies* Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and application software across our mixed environment of Linux and Windows servers* Work closely with our technology partners to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems* Have experience working in highly virtualized public and private cloud environments* Ensure thorough capacity, health, and security monitoring is present at every layer of the application stack* Know how to use configuration management and orchestration tools to rapidly deploy and manage highly consistent, prescriptive environments* Understand ITIL concepts and how to apply them effectively in the enterprise* Recognize the importance of and be able to generate excellent documentation and diagrams* Have effective written and verbal communication skills* Demonstrate a proven ability to learn and grow through self-study* Consider themselves a collaborative service provider to our intra-business customers* Participate in a periodic on-call rotation with other team membersREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS* 8+ years of enterprise systems engineering and DevOps experience, preferably in a customer facing environment with increasing responsibility* Experience with Virtualization (VMWare) and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes)* Experience with Agile CI/CD development tools such as Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jenkins* Linux (CentOS / RHEL 7.x) - Senior-level administrator* Windows Server experience (2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016)* Scripting experience with emphasis on Bash, Python, and PowerShell* Thorough understanding of common protocols and services, including: DHCP, DNS, FTP(S), HTTP(S), LDAP, SIP, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, TCP, UDP* Experience using orchestration and configuration management tools (e.g., SaltStack)* Experience using ServiceNow or other similar CMS / SKMS* Bachelor's degree in an information technology related field or equivalent work experience* Experience with F5 load balancers is a plus* Exposure to IP telephony technology within an enterprise environment is a plusWHAT WE OFFER* Competitive Compensation* Eligible for Quarterly Bonus and Annual Stock Grant* Full Health Benefits; Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance + Paid Parental Leave* Company Matched 401k* Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays + Paid Volunteer Time* Diversity Alliance Resource Groups* Employee Stock Purchase Program* Tuition Reimbursement* Charitable Gift Matching* Job Required Equipment & Services Will Be ProvidedWHO WE AREProg Leasing, is the largest and longest-tenured virtual lease-to-own provider in the United States.
