Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Quality
Assurance Automation Engineer in Draper, UT. This is a great
opportunity to build upon an existing automation framework.
Summary:
The client is looking for a solid C# Selenium Engineer who is able
to do both manual and automated testing. As the QA Automation lead
you will be asked to build the automation framework from scratch.
You will choose the tools and create the Automation policies.
Duties:
- QA Automation Engineer will design, develop, and implement
testing methods, use cases, and test suites to configure, deploy,
test, debug, and install software applications; Those applications
could be custom developed or purchased; The testing includes any
integration points between an updated/created application and other
applications exchanging data with that project application
- Plan, execute, review, analyze and improve the development
lifecycle process; Work closely with product owner, business owner,
subject matter experts, engineers, and users to identify desired
features and to understand business needs and give technical
guidance; Follow the quality assurance process by participating in
code reviews, test reviews, automated testing, automated
configuration and deployment, product owner demonstrations and
business owner acceptance
Job Requirements:REQUIREMENTS:Experience & Education Experience may
be substituted for education; The opposite also applies; It is
broken down as follows:
5-7 years of experience in IT or related field with either:
- A two-year college degree or Completion of a specialized course
of study at a business or trade school or Completion of a
specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship
program; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in IT or related field with a
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information
Management Systems, or a related field
Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of QA processes, practices, and
systems
- Computer and data processing experience including computer
networks, server OS, PC and other client OS, and database
technologies
- Experience working with TestComplete, Selenium, or other test
automation tools such
- Experience with source control tools such as Git, TFS, and
SVN
- Understanding of Web Services (SOAP, REST)
- Experience with Visual Studio Team Foundation Server test
management tools
- Experience in Agile software development methodologies
- Experience with load testing tools such as JMeter, webLOAD or
similar
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or
similar
- Foundational understanding of SQL and Databases
- Software Development background a plus
- Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Puppet,
Chef, or similar a plus
