seeking a Mission Assurance Manager – Level 2 to join our team in
Promontory, UT. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate
telecommute work. Defines and monitors mission assurance program
specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs.
Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability
and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and
suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements. Assesses
program performance and risks, and determines resources to ensure
mission assurance. This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with
every other Friday off. In this job, you will: Develop, modify,
apply and maintain quality systems and collaborate with operations
and engineering to ensure quality standards are met. Develop and
implement methods and procedures for inspecting and evaluating the
design compliance of rocket motor hardware and the capability of
production and inspection equipment. Drive technological
advancements in inspection capabilities and lead the development,
improvement, and qualification of inspection processes. Ensuring
Quality Inspector resources are provided when and where needed to
support the Promontory campus. Developing, communicating and
implementing the S&MA (Safety and Mission Assurance) vision,
strategy, goals and metrics that drive business objectives for
cost, safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous
improvement. Utilize effective talent management strategies to
attract, develop, retain and engage the right people for the
organization. Responsibilities for this position also include
interacting with various program and customers and working to
resolve concerns and customer corrective action requests. Other
duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: STEM Bachelor’s degree
with 8 years of relevant experience – OR – STEM Master’s degree
with 6 years of relevant experience. No clearance required to start
5 years in a leadership role. Strong working knowledge of
inspection processes and inspection techniques using advance
equipment Strong working knowledge of Quality policies, procedures
and processes Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with
all levels of the organization and with customers Demonstrated
problem solving skills in a teaming environment Demonstrated
leadership abilities, including the ability to coach, develop and
mentor Demonstrated budget management skills Working knowledge of
the MRB processes Preferred Qualifications: Well versed in Mistake
Proofing principles Strong background of Lean implementation with
proven results Recruiting and talent development skills Ability to

Primary Level Salary Range: $126,600.00 - $189,800.00 The above
salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop
Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary
offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and
the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market
conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible
for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance
coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid
holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal
