is seeking a Systems Engineer / Principal Systems Engineer . This
position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and
validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness
analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of
total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication,
test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures
the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product
requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge
technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional
analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements
allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer
requirements into hardware and software specifications. What You’ll
Get To Do: The selected candidate will perform technical planning,
system requirement development, requirements verification, and
support reviews. The candidate responsibilities will include
requirements development in DOORS and MBSE development in Cameo in
addition to coordination with design, test, and other teams. The
selected candidate will demonstrate technical skills, organization,
be an effective communicator, and problem solver who is able to
develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and
external stakeholders. The candidate will demonstrate a commitment
to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate. They will
have an ability to operate in a team environment and collaborate
across the program as required to accomplish tasks. The selected
candidate may support Guidance & Control requirements,
verification, interfaces, architecture, and/or Major Program Event
(MPE) event coordination. Basic Qualifications: This requisition
may be filled at either the Systems Engineer level (T-02) or
Principal Systems Engineer level (T-03). Engineer Systems (T-02):
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2
years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master's degree 2
years of experience with Systems Engineering Principles 2 years of
experience with Requirements Development Principal Engineer
Systems: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5
years of experience, or 3 years of experience with a Master's
degree 3 years of experience with Systems Engineering Principles 3
years of experience with Requirements Development 1 years of
experience with MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) Principles 1
years of experience with the Agile Approach Required for Both
Levels: U.S. Citizen with an ability to obtain and maintain U.S.
Government DoD Secret security clearance; (must be current & within
scope at time of application). An ability to obtain and maintain
Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period,
as determined by the company to meet its business need. Preferred
Qualifications A general understanding of Engineering Board
Processes Experience leading projects/assignments Experience with
Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) or similar Experience working
with Cameo or similar tools Experience working with DOORS or
similar tools Experience with MBSE Experience with Critical Design
Review planning and/or execution Experience with one or more of the
following disciplines: Guidance, Navigation, & Control, Electrical
Engineering design, Software Development, Hardware-Software

standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows
employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take
every other Friday off. Sentinelsystems Primary Level Salary Range:
$79,300.00 - $118,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 -
$147,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline;
however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when
determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
(PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. The application period
