relations professional who will help deliver high-quality labor
relations strategies. This member of HR Team will be responsible
for the development and execution of an effective labor relations
strategy for the organization. The Director, Labor Relations will
provide positive employee and labor relations guidance and support,
negotiating collective bargaining agreements, handling
arbitrations, leading the response to campaigns, influencing our
hourly associates, preparing, and presenting NLRB cases. This
position requires a passion for labor relations work, the ideal
candidate will be a self-starter who does not require top-down
direction, and works as a non-political, team player who can build
credibility with the company executive team. This position requires
refined dispute resolution skills and involves daily interaction
with production, business affairs, finance, legal, HR and other
executives.New Ways of Work: The Director, Labor Relations position
has been segmented asHybrid/Remote meaning the work is completed
working remotely anywhere in the Swire Coca-Cola geography, with
50% onsite work across corporate headquarters in Draper, UT and
locations with a union presence.ResponsibilitiesDirect Labor
Relations activities, programs, and strategy implementation to meet
identified goals consistent with Company objectives.Chief spokesman
for contract negotiations, representing and operationally defining
labor policies that are market competitive and aligned with the
organization strategy.Acts as company advocate for labor
arbitration cases.Manage the preparation and presentation of
charges related to the National Labor Relations Act.Keep current on
trends and best practices in the distribution industry and
incorporating those that are complimentary to the Company.Drive
excellence in negotiations preparedness, including negotiation of
and execution of labor contracts.Assesses and develops (with client
partners) training needs specific to labor and employee
relations.Partners with HR COEs and other leadership in developing
a labor strategy and tactical solutions aligned to the business
strategy and overall employee experience. QualificationsBachelor's
degree in a related discipline required. Law degree
preferred.Minimum of 7 to 10 years of labor relations experience
with relative industry experience in retail, wholesale,
manufacturing, consumer products or distribution, required.Minimum
of 5 years presenting cases to the National Labor Relations Board
(NLRB), required.Extensive experience in the development and
execution of labor relations strategy, required.Hands-on experience
in negotiating contracts, required.Ability to work with and
influence in C-Suite and frontline positions.Travel required - 75%
