Job Description:**Role Summary/Purpose:**The VP, Relationship Manager is responsible for the performance of a new Synchrony strategic partner that is the largest specialty retailer in the flooring industry in the US. This program will feature both a Consumer PLCC and Business Revolving Credit program. This role will partner cross-functionally with business leaders to drive growth and change via a balanced focus on customers, people, process, and innovation.We're proud to offer you choice and flexibility. You have the option to be remote, and work from home, or come into one of our offices. You may be occasionally requested to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events.**Essential Responsibilities:**+ Manage the client P, drive the development and execution of a long-term growth strategy that incorporates critical value proposition elements aimed at increasing sales and credit penetration while building relationship equity to insulate from the competition+ Manage and coordinate the strategic engagement framework (and evolution) for the strategic flooring portfolio, focusing heavily on marketing and loyalty analytics, new account growth, repeat usage and value-added capability delivery.+ Ensure program performance & sales goals are met.+ Attend client conventions / trade shows+ Leverage various channels to influence retail partner in order to achieve growth goals. Various channels include, but aren't limited to phone, face to face meeting, trade shows, webinars, email and newsletters.+ Help maintain competitive information and optimize how we differentiate vs. the competition.+ Work effectively in a highly cross functional environment with other departments such as Marketing, IT, Risk, Finance, Operations & Training to support business objectives.+ Work with Operations and Sales Support team to resolve day-to-day escalated/ad hoc client and sales requests+ Lead quarterly business reviews, both internally and externally, as well as being an active member in planning all other client interactions to drive business engagement and results+ Manage and execute, in very close coordination with cross-functional partners, the overall strategic initiative roadmap focused on Digital Enhancements, Operational Excellence and Store Servicing and Selling+ Develop, maintain and execute a store level segmentation and engagement plan for -175 stores (and continuing to expand) to ensure appropriate connections are made outside of day-to-day corporate contacts+ Proactively scan potential risk and compliance concerns; assures all contractual and compliance obligations are being met+ Leverage data analytics for comprehensive diagnosis of the client's business and the health / opportunities within the credit program+ Continually promote and apply Synchrony Financial Values, acting as a role model for integrity.+ Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned**Qualifications/Requirements:**+ Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of equivalent work experience.+ 5+ years leadership experience with B2B Marketing and Sales+ 5+ years financial skills and understanding of the P+ 5+ years leadership/team building experience with a solid track record of coaching, building both strong cross-functional alliances and motivating others to act in a boundary-less fashion+ Ability to travel up to 50% (including weekends)**Desired Characteristics:**+ Demonstrated prior experience involving contract negotiations, competitive pricing, business planning and P management.+ Strong sales, marketing, creative and analytical skills+ Proven ability to influence corporate decision makers; strong negotiating skills+ Ability to demonstrate innovation and creative approaches to business needs+ Proven ability to work remotely and independently.+ Ability to conduct in-depth sales presentations, including product demonstrations that highlight key benefits, ROI and the value of our solutions and services.+ Demonstrated leadership and ability to develop and motivate individuals and teams+ Organizational skills and effective time management to succeed in a fast-paced environment.+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills+ Excellent strategic, organizational, and prioritization skills+ Experience with web-based sales / B2B Sales / marketing activities and/or mobile technologies**Grade/Level: 13**The salary range for this position is **100,000.00 - 200,000.00** USD AnnualSalaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.**Eligibility Requirements:**+ You must be 18 years or older+ You must have a high school diploma or equivalent+ You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process+ You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.+ New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
