We are currently hiring a Compliance Manager of Testing (Remote) to help grow our company and ensure our mission is achieved! This role is a work from home position and can be performed remotely anywhere in the continental US or in one of our corporate locations in Utah or Arizona. YOU ARE: A highly motivated leader with extensive experience understanding and applying compliance practices, experience leading and managing successful teams, exceptional interpersonal & communications skills, and a strong sense of ownership and pride over your area of responsibility. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Define, establish, document, and execute an effective Compliance Testing Program, including definitions, processes, tracking system, templates, tools, etc.
  • Prepare and present results of compliance testing to company executives, including the Chief Compliance Officer
  • Reporting to be done for internal compliance, management, the board, external stakeholders, etc.
  • Analyze data for compliance issues and/or deviations from state and federal laws and adopted practices
  • Ensure ongoing tracking and completion of compliance-related issues and resolution
  • Manage the Compliance Testing team's efforts to properly document all findings
  • Establish, produce, and execute a calendar for compliance testing
  • Coordinate regulatory exams, visits, etc. for Compliance
  • Review potential observations/executions with Compliance Officers and the Compliance Issue Manager to determine what is an issue, what is the severity of the issue, and which issues require action plans for individual business unitsYOU'LL BRING:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 5+ years of related experience
    • ACL or other coding experience
    • Tableau or other self-service BI tool experience
    • Significant experience in testing/audit and regulatory compliance
    • Strong knowledge of data science, statistical sampling, and analyzing quantitative metrics
    • Excellent analytical skills with a thoughtful and open-minded approach to problem solving
    • Prior experience performing and/or assisting in root-cause analyses of issues
    • Experience creating and developing testing plans with stakeholders
    • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple testers
    • Experience or ability with compliance testing systems and processes
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including editing and proofreading skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment and a manifestation of strong support for the business goals of the organization
    • Prior regulatory experience/interactions (e.g. CFPB, State Regulators, and/or FTC) preferred
    • Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements (UDAP/UDAAP, FCRA, FDCPA, etc.) preferred
    • Familiarity with the state-by-state Lease/Rent-to-Own (RTO) statutory regime preferred WE OFFER:
