Overview:The AP Senior Manager will handle the daily operations and strategic objectives of Asbury's accounts payable cycle through maintenance and management of all accounts payable business functions, including invoice entry, statement reconciliation, error corrections, vendor management, and payment process.RequirementsAccounts Payable management in a dealership or similar Shared Service Center settingWell-developed analytic and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsMicrosoft Excel experienceCDK Dealership software experienceResponsibilitiesDepartment ManagementWork with Director on hiring, training, reviewing, and discipline of all staff membersSupervise managersSchedule and run required and appropriate meetingsMonitor and review assigned reportingCross train and cover for absencesTrain where necessary, troubleshoot, resolve escalationsMonitor National Accounts, advise and assist ManagerReview debit balance schedules with manager for posting inaccuracies, posting errorsVerify that month end duties are completeFinalize month end packet for departmentInvoice managementAnalyze daily reports for flow issues, troubleshoot and correctHandle elevated payment requestsManage quarterly reviewsNational Account ManagementMonitor all accounts & overall agingSchedule / lead calls & other communication initiativesMaintain contact filesAssign accounts as needed to analysts/SAReportingEOM Reporting, including aging reports and reconciliation workbook creationQuarterly reporting of uncollectable accounts & adjustmentsAnnual W9 archiving program, report and manageCoordinate audit requests with entire teamPayment ManagementFinal approver on all pay runsCoordinate vendor updates with Nvoice Pay
