Position Description:--RN Labor and Delivery Full-Time Nights
The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in the setting.-
Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.-
Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical
condition including:- fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic
studies.- Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition
or response to treatment.- Performs general nursing duties in all
Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision.-
Participates in process improvement activities.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of a school of Nursing.- BSN is desirable.
Two (2) or more years of recent Labor and Delivery preferred.- One
(1) year Newborn Nursery Postpartum experience preferred.
- Current Utah Registered Nurse License or RN Compact license
- Current-American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic
Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification within 30 days
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life
Support Course (ACLS) and Certification (LDRP RNs Only) preferred.-
Must obtain ACLS within 1 year of hire and maintain
- Current NRP preferred.- Must obtain NRP within 6 months of hire
and maintain certification.
- Current STABLE preferred.- Must obtain STABLE within 1 year of
hire and maintain certification.
