Staffing is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Lab Tech for a 13
week travel assignment in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a member of our

/n/nRequired Qualifications:/n/n /n/t - One year’s recent
experience as an EP Lab Tech/n/t - Current BLS (AHA/ ARC)
Certification/n/t - ARRT, RCES, or RCIS Certification/n/t - Current
ACLS Certification/n /n/nPreferred Qualifications:/n/n /n/t - Valid
Radiologic Technologist license in compliance within state
regulations/n/t - PALS or ENPC Certifications/n/t - Other
certifications and licenses may be required for this position/n
/n/nSummary:/n/n The Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Tech is responsible
for assisting in electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations,
pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and other specialized
procedures within the EP lab. This role involves preparing patients
for procedures, operating and troubleshooting EP lab equipment,
monitoring patient responses, and maintaining a safe and efficient
working environment. The EP Lab Tech plays a crucial role in
supporting cardiac mapping, ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator
implantations, and other specialized cardiac interventions.
/n/nEssential Work Functions:/n/n /n/t - Perform comprehensive
nursing assessments for EP lab patients and document findings
accurately/n/t - Educate patients and families on electrophysiology
procedures, pre-procedure expectations, and post-procedure care to
ensure understanding and informed consent/n/t - Assist physicians
with electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device
implantations/n/t - Administer medications, including conscious
sedation, per physician orders/n/t - Monitor cardiac rhythms,
hemodynamics, and patient responses throughout procedures/n/t -
Identify and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating
care as needed/n/t - Maintain sterile technique and assist with
equipment preparation, setup, and troubleshooting to support
seamless procedural workflow/n/t - Collaborate with the care team
to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans/n/t -
Provide immediate post-procedure care, monitoring complications and
ensuring stable recovery/n/t - Adhere to hospital safety protocols,
infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards/n/t -
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice/n
/n/nRequired Essential Skills:/n/n /n/t - Critical thinking,
service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills/n/t
- The ability to read, write, & communicate in the English language
is required/n/t - Ability to read/comprehend written instructions,
follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills/n/t -
Physical Abilities - Remain in a stationary position, move about,
move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending/n/t -
Interpersonal Skills - To work effectively with a variety of
personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive
attitude and professionalism/n/t - Technical/Motor Skills - Ability
to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about
when assisting with procedures and/or using department
equipment./n/t - Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with
frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting
deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close
supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from
other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity
schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail/n/t -
