goals. Unlock your potential! Job Summary and Qualifications As a
Nuclear Medicine Technologist at our facility you will be joining a
collaborative team that is dedicated to serving our patients and
also supporting one another. This position requires comprehensive
understanding of related technology, independent judgment, and
complete knowledge of all Federal and Utah Regulatory Commission
rules and regulations. In this role you will: - Perform duties
directly involved with a variety of technical procedures in the
application of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of
disease in humans. - Be responsible for the assessment, treatment
or care appropriate to the ages of the patients served: i.e.
Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric. - Assist physicians in the use of
therapeutic radioisotopes under prescribed safety conditions and
preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals for
diagnostic purposes. - Check assay of radionuclides received and
calibrate doses to be given. Also check equipment calibration
daily. - Maintain adequate records of equipment calibration and
repairs, radiation surveys of laboratory and personnel,
radionuclide receipt and use, storage and disposal of radioactive
material in accordance with Hospital, State and Federal
regulations. - Keep abreast of new procedures, equipment and
methods, and participate in their evaluation and application. -
Participate in in-service training programs as required and
instruct the demonstration of specific techniques and equipment.
What qualifications you will need: - (RT) Radiologic
Technologist/Radiographer - Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS
Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (NMT) Nuclear
Medicine Technologist, or (ARRT-R) Radiography For 150 years, St.
