About th is role : A s a Physician in Gastroenterology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will be an employed Medical Group Gastroenterologist within a large non-for-profit health system. We have a strong community need for increased access to GI and Endoscopy care and have a team-based GI practice model with physicians, APP support, and nurse teamwork across our clinic and endoscopy locations. You will benefit from a strong referral base and we will help support you in building your GI practice . This position includes a starting base salary of $620,000 /annually with production incentives, a $50,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 relocation assistance based on distance; student loan repayment and a $1,500 monthly training stipend and future ASC opportunities are also available You will practice at our Southridge Clinic in Riverton, Utah, which is supported by a network of primary care physicians in the community who are partners within the Intermountain Medical Group You will have the opportunity for a mix of clinic, with a blend of endoscopy and hospital service Anticipated call is 1:4 How we'll support you : We care about your well-being which is why we provide our caregivers a generous benefits package. What you'll bring: MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine U.S. ACGME accredited r esidency training ABMS b oard certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one BLS certification and DEA ERCP is welcomed but not required for this position Ability to successfully com plete Intermountain Health's credentialing process Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis About us: Intermountain Health is a model health system providing extraordinary care and superior service at an affordable cost.
