The PSS will have a strong knowledge of payroll processes, pay practices, compensation plans, time keeping systems, and HR policies. They will understand and enforce audit controls and best practices while ensuring to meet business standards and a high degree of support best practices. They will also be responsible for process improvement, training, and meeting staffing needs, and work collaboratively with the payroll processors, manager, and Director.UTA System Admin (HRIS Supervisor)Serve as the SME on UKG Time and Attendance, Time Clocks, UKG App, and Absentee policies.Serve as the SME during acquisitions to assist the HR team on how to configureSupport Acquisition activities by assessing and managing integration with Time and Attendance, Payroll, Time ClockAbsentee policies to ensure compliance and system requirements are met.Serve as the point of contact for the HR team of newly acquired stores to assist with UTA issues, PTO questions, and provide training in UTA.Escalate systems administration and end-user issues to our partner vendor where appropriate; follow issues through to resolution (including testing, deployment, user communications)Create and manage service requests with regards to custom configurations or new policy requirements for UTA reports, Absentee policies, and legislation changes.Identify and anticipate business needs pertaining but not limited to legislation and policy changes and process improvement.Serve as the point of escalation for system issues, alerts, support questions, ensuring resources are engaged for timely action and resolution.Partner with IT, Human Resources, Senior HRIS Analyst on system upgrades, annual releases, and system configurations to ensure compliance and update policies.Coordinate, support, and execute change management strategies effectively within the Customer Support team, Payroll and Time and Attendance.Engage with the Project Managers on projects related to HCM upgrades/changes.Takes ownership of documenting issues and risks - escalating to leadership as appropriate.Handle audit requests to provide standard and custom reports as requested.Contribute to and maintain written procedures and knowledge-based reference materialsParticipate in the regular review and prioritization of HCM systems projects.Identify opportunities for improving the effectiveness of processes.Collaborate with the HCM vendor to ensure timekeeping system updates are made timely and tested for accuracy to comply with legislation.Perform tasks that are included in year-end activities.Train Support Specialist and Payroll Specialists on Time and Attendance best practices, how to read and understand the system, and how to read and understand absentee policies to better assist managers and employees with specific questions.Ensure payroll deadlines are met as they pertain to Time and Attendance.Engage with the Project Managers on projects related to HCM upgrades/changes.Oversee the Support Specialist with regards to all UTA related responsibilities to ensure payroll deadlines are being met, audit controls are in place, and tasks are completed in a timely manner.Train the Support Specialist on UTA, payroll best practices, and PTO policies.Back up for the support specialist.Manage weekly, monthly, and annual UTA processes not performed by the Support Specialist.Responsible for the development, execution, and improvements of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) - creating management reports for team and management decision-making; monitoring HR system interfaces between systems; managing the HR system security requests; performing maintenance on core HR system tables; supporting HRIS projects activities; coordinating internal and external audits; reporting on HRIS compliance in accordance with company policies and service level agreements and performing a variety of data and department audits.The HRIS Administrator will be responsible for the daily support needed to ensure a successful Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This position provides functional administration for HR systems which includes design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, reporting and training. This person will partner with internal and external stakeholders on HR system usage, functionality, data requirements and design for process improvement. They will troubleshoot and resolve HR system issues.
