What does a Payroll Coordinator do at Swire Coca-Cola?

In this role, you are part of the HR team and responsible for the execution of various payroll duties. You will respond to answer payroll-related questions for both internal and external customers as needed; complete, audit, and process payroll-related forms and documents in accordance with established guidelines while maintaining confidentiality on all HR/Payroll information.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with managers and employees to correct timesheets for multi-state payroll processing of 7200+ employees; collect additional pay items and prepare for import to payroll
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions
  • Analyze timekeeping and pay errors; work with managers to prevent future errors
  • Prepare and process pay for terminations and pay corrections
  • Audit and analyze payroll reports for changes and accuracy
  • Provide excellent customer service on all payroll related questions from managers, employees, and agencies
  • Prepare and process garnishments
  • Process Verification of Employment forms
  • Enter union dues; create payroll adjustments; work with union representatives as needed
  • Assist with special projects as requested Requirements:
    • High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate
    • 2+ years of Payroll or HR experience
    • Understanding of basic payroll functions & procedures
    • Critical thinker with strong organizational and analytical skills
    • Proficient at Microsoft Office with moderate Excel skills preferred
    • Experience with time and attendance systems preferred #LI-LK1
