an immediate contract engagement with our government client. Work
Location: This position is Hybrid Job Description : We Are Seeking
an experienced SAFe Scrum Master to support Agile teams within an
Agile Release Train (ART) by promoting Agile best practices,
facilitating collaboration, and driving continuous improvement.
This role serves as a servant leader and coach, helping teams apply
Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe principles to deliver high-quality
value at scale while fostering alignment across teams and
stakeholders. Responsibilities: Team-Level Responsibilities ·
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Iteration Planning, Daily
Stand-ups, Iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives. · Coach teams on
Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean principles. · Promote effective
workflow management, including adherence to work-in-progress (WIP)
limits. · Support teams in delivering incremental, high-quality
value each iteration. · Remove impediments and escalate risks,
dependencies, and blockers as needed. · Foster a culture of
transparency, collaboration, accountability, and continuous
improvement. · Track, analyze, and communicate team performance
metrics such as velocity, predictability, and flow metrics. ART &
Program-Level Responsibilities · Support and participate in Program
Increment (PI) Planning activities. · Assist teams with backlog
readiness, capacity planning, and preparation for PI Planning. ·
Identify, track, and help manage cross-team dependencies and risks.
· Participate in ART-level coordination events such as Scrum of
Scrums, ART Syncs, and Inspect & Adapt sessions. · Collaborate with
Release Train Engineers to enhance ART performance and delivery
outcomes. · Promote alignment with program objectives, PI goals,
and organizational priorities. Product & Stakeholder Collaboration
· Support Product Owners with backlog refinement, story definition,
and acceptance criteria development. · Help ensure features are
broken down into well-defined, actionable user stories. ·
Collaborate with product management, architects, technical teams,
and stakeholders to align delivery with business priorities. ·
Facilitate clear communication between teams and stakeholders to
ensure shared understanding and effective decision-making. Required
Skills: · Minimum 5 years of experience leading development teams
using Agile software development principles. · Minimum 5 years of
experience working within the SAFe framework. · Proven experience
serving as a Scrum Master in a SAFe environment. · Strong knowledge
of SAFe, Scrum, Agile, and Lean methodologies. · Experience working
within Agile Release Trains (ARTs). · Demonstrated ability to coach
teams, leaders, and stakeholders on Agile practices. · Strong
facilitation, communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution
skills. · Experience using Agile project management tools such as
Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar platforms. Preferred Skills &
Experience · SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification or similar Agile
certifications. · Experience supporting enterprise-scale Agile
transformations. · Background in software development, quality
assurance, DevOps, or product management. · Experience working with
distributed teams or multi-team Agile environments. · Additional
SAFe certifications (e.g., SA, SPC, RTE) considered a plus.
