Job Description Job Description Job Summary: BBSI is seeking a Receiving Clerk responsible for the accurate receipt and inspection of incoming raw materials and supplies. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our inventory records are accurate and our production operations are well-supported. Job Title: Receiving Clerk Job ID: 74792 Pay Rate: $18.00/hr Job Location: West Jordan Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday Responsibilities: Applicants could be required to do any of the following: Unload packages from incoming trucks. Visually inspect outer packaging and document any damages upon receipt. Verify deliveries against packing slips, including part numbers and quantities. Work closely with Purchasing to resolve any delivery discrepancies. Accurately record received items in our internal database, including packing slip numbers and bill of lading information. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse in accordance with 5S standards. Perform other related duties as assigned. Physical/Environmental Demands: Lift up to 50 lbs. • Frequent standing, sitting, bending, and walking. Ability to read, write, and perceive color and details accurately. Exposure to warehouse noise and occasional chemical vapors. Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math skills. • Ability to follow written instructions and documentation procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with computers (word processing, spreadsheets, databases). Preferred Qualifications: 3 months of prior receiving or warehouse experience.
