Job Description:
Ryder, a leader in the logistics and transportation industry, is
seeking a dedicated Transportation Manager to join our innovative
team. This role is pivotal in optimizing our transportation
operations and ensuring exceptional levels of efficiency and
customer satisfaction. The Transportation Manager will oversee all
aspects of routing, dispatching, and regulatory compliance, while
leading a dynamic team towards achieving operational excellence in
a fast-paced environment. Develop efficient route plans and
optimize transportation schedules. Manage daily operations of
dispatchers and routing staff effectively. Ensure compliance with
local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Monitor
transportation costs, budgets, and performance objectives. Lead,
train, and develop a professional team in a high-volume logistics
environment. Collaborate with other department managers to ensure
smooth operation across the supply chain. Analyze operational data
to propose improvements and innovations in transportation
strategies. Strong leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software
Excellent organizational and time management abilities Solid
understanding of transportation regulations and compliance
requirements Ability to analyze data and performance metrics Good
communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental
