Title: Compliance Specialist Location: Draper, UT Salary: Market
What You Will Be Doing
Process new licenses to include the research, submission, and
maintenance of appropriate state, city, agency, and licensing in
the NMLS.- Maintain Corporate licensing in all approved states.-
Track and provide notice of all upcoming licensing deadlines,
including applicable compliance requirements.- Review, advise, and
approve Branch licensing.- Review, advise, and approve Originator
licensing.- Ensure compliance with HUD requirements in each
approved Branch.- Communicate actively with Chief Compliance
Officer.- Manage regular preparation of relevant management
reports, state and federal filings.- Working collaboratively with
other members of the Sales, HR, Compliance teams to provide
additional resource and perspective on teams activities- Assisting
with special projects, and additional tasks and responsibilities,
as assigned.- Preparing and filing forms related to material change
of officers, addresses, bonds, etc- Maintain company Licensing and
SAFE act Policy and Procedures.- Audit, Review and Submit NMLS
Mortgage Call Report timely.
What You Need for this Position
- 2+ years experience using the Nationwide Multistate Licensing
System Registry (NMLS) (preferred)- Strong organizational ability
and the drive to manage multiple, conflicting deadlines- Strong and
professional written and verbal communication skills- Experience in
Microsoft Office + G-Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Drive,
etc)- EllieMae Encompass LOS experience is preferred.- Recent
college graduate or experienced Licensing expert preferred.
