xMatters is looking for a self-motivated Enterprise Account Executive with a successful record of prospecting and selling software solutions. We are looking for a high-energy and driven sales professional who can build their own pipeline and manage a sophisticated sales cycle. We're looking for someone who has a technical aptitude and a consultative sales approach. Someone who can incorporate a sales engineer and other xMatters resources to facilitate a team sale. You will be responsible for building your own pipeline of new business in a clearly defined territory. Ability to effectively prospect new business is a must. You are also expected to create accurate quarterly forecasts and exceed quarterly revenue objectives.--You will establish a high understanding of customer needs and challenges and align them with the xMatters solution.Responsibilities* Generate revenue by prospecting, and selling into new business* Managing the sales portion of client relationships for the first 12 months upon closing new business* Leverage sales engineering and xMatters resources to improve deal size and close velocity* Establish, implement and executive on territory plans* Maintain pipeline and forecast accuracy* Work out of salesforce.com for all lead management and sales forecasting* Travel as necessary to accounts in order to close larger opportunitiesExperience/Requirements * Based in the Salt Lake City area or along the Wasatch Front* 5+ years of technology selling experience to enterprise customers* Top performer at your last company* Ability to effectively present to a technical audience, influence individuals and groups at all levels* A proven track record of successfully prospecting into enterprise accounts* Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles* A track record of consistent sales quota over-achievement* Knowledge of large corporate IT environments including understanding of infrastructure and cloud computing* Effective time management, deal management, and problem-solving skills* Exceptional management, interpersonal, written and presentation skills* Willing to motivate and contribute to the success of the entire Enterprise sales team* Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment* Strong work ethic* BS/BA Degree or higher preferredAbout xMattersDiversity and Inclusion - We hire people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences while fostering a culture that ensures everyone's perspective is heard and respected.Innovation - We're in the digital transformation business, so it's in our DNA to be bold, experiment, and quickly adapt to market changes across our company, from finance to the field.Professional Development - We invest in the growth of our people, paying for training, conferences, meetups-whatever helps them grow and do their best work.At xMatters, we work together to help our customers solve technology problems before they become business problems (translation: when $hit happens, we minimize the blast radius).xMatters is building the next generation Digital Service Availability platform.
