Job Description:

At Progressive Leasing is hiring an Operations Leadership Development Specialist. Reporting to the Senior Manager, this position will directly contribute to the continuous learning and development that is a critical part of enabling our employees to grow in their careers. You will work closely with the Operations leadership team to design, develop, and implement leadership development learning programs at Progressive Leasing.

 

Although you may work remotely on a temporary basis due to COVID-19, this position will be based out of our Headquarters in Draper, UT or the office in Glendale, AZ. Living within a reasonable radius is required as it may be necessary for you to visit the office on a business needs basis. 

 

THE DETAILS

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, delivery, and program management of leadership development courses, programs, and initiatives within Operations. A key initiative will be enhancing and implementing high-potential programs while providing feedback and coaching for emerging & current senior leaders. Your experience designing, producing and administering professional development content and materials will be crucial to your success in this role.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Partner with HR, senior leaders, and other members of L&D to create exciting, modern, and comprehensive learning experiences for Operations leaders
  • Create, implement, facilitate and maintain Operations L&D strategy and roadmaps to enhance manager and leadership effectiveness for all levels of leaders
  • Review metrics, surveys and data to identify learning gaps and develop training programs/solutions
  • Design and create learning and development solutions using a proven development life cycle to ensure that the desired learning objectives and goals are achieved (ADDIE model: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation)
  • Develop and maintain competency-based, level-appropriate curriculum
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner in planning and delivering large-scale leadership learning sessions
  • Design programs, courses and content that are aligned with industry best practices and research in the areas of adult learning theory, high potential development, leadership, and coaching
  • Manage vendor partnerships to coordinate the delivery of leadership development courses and potentially explore new vendor partnerships to offer future leadership courses
  • Provide leadership development consulting to internal clients (offsites, webinars, training, toolkit design, train-the-trainers, etc.)
  • Continually assess the talent development library of courses
  • Debrief and deliver assessment results to individuals or groups on various talent assessment tools, including but not limited to personality profiles, 360 Assessments, EQ assessments, etc. Lead processes that provide development opportunities associated with the organization’s succession planning process

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years’ experience in designing, leading, and administering Leadership Development initiatives (high potential development programs, courses, webinars, etc.)
  • 3+ years’ experience producing experiential training materials using templates and brand guidelines
  • 3+ years’ experience facilitating leadership development programs and coaching people leaders
  • 2+ years’ designing, developing and implementing in-house leadership training programs
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, develop and maintain strong business relationships, and build networks with Talent & Organizational Development colleagues, HR Business Partners, business leaders, etc.
  • Ability to apply adult learning methodology in the development of curriculum
  • Call center leadership experience with outstanding project and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity while attending to multiple stakeholders, a variety of concurrent projects, and firm deadlines
  • Highly analytical with ability to gather and interpret metrics/data
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office and eLearning authoring applications
  • Experience using and working with customers to understand results from popular assessment instruments include DISC, MBTI, Hogan, EQi, 360-degree assessments, etc.
  • Self-starter capable of bringing clarity to and acting in ambiguous situations

 

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERTISE

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field (Business Administration, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, etc.)
  • Certification/experience in InsideOut Coaching
  • L&D experience in a high-growth call center environment
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented, organized and can work independently as well as with a team
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
