Snap AV seeks a talented, passionate, Technical Trainer/Curriculum Developer to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position will manage the onboarding activities for all new technical support representatives in addition to overseeing all training and career pathing materials for existing Technical Support employees. Developing new curriculum by partnering with subject matter experts to write effective learning objectives, content and assessments is a key focus for this position. The Technical Trainer/ Curriculum Developer should be comfortable speaking to large groups and have outstanding communication skills. This position should have vast knowledge in technical subjects while being up to date with various training techniques and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding, training, and materials for technical support team members Ownership and oversite of Tech Support monthly worldwide trainings Maintain and develop team member career path curriculum, materials, and schedules Attend weekly meetings with various teams for continual development of content and training Create and present instructor-led training that displays best-in-class design, presentation, and employee engagement skills Develop new and revise training content for written training materials such as bulletins, job aides, and training manuals Conduct needs analysis to assess learning requirements (determine target audience, identify learning goals, and create course learning objectives) Up to 10% travel during specific time periods

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education or a related field 3+ Years' experience in technical training, content development, or related experience Ability to manage projects through to completion and meet deadlines for delivery Ability to create effective visual aids, with a keen eye for visual design Excellent communication/presentation skills, and the ability to optimize information for knowledge transfer and skill development Proven technical aptitude and experience in tech related field A portfolio of writing and learning material samples

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education or related field Curriculum development work experience, using a well-defined instructional design system (e.g. ADDIE or SAM). Experience with eLearning development software (Storyline 360, Camtasia, etc). Demonstrated experience designing and developing training materials and content for instructor-led courses, blended learning, and/or e-learning
