Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Right's Owner team is responsible for investigating Copyright, Trademark, Counterfeit and Patent claims made to Walmart. The team will investigate the above claims sent to Walmart from claimants to ensure that intellectual property is not being infringed upon. The team will reference the Federal patent and Trademark registries and work along side the legal team to ensure we are making the correct decisions about intellectual property claims. As a part of the team, you will serve an important role in keeping right's owner brand protected and keep our customers happy by ensuring only authentic products are being delivered.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer inquiries from internal business partners and marketplace sellers related to unpublished items and other intellectual property reasons
  • Unpublish infringing items and communicate with business partners
  • Perform item reviews on potentially infringing products caught by system rules
  • Support the business to resolve infringement claims
  • Navigating multiple interfaces to acquire the pertinent information
  • Conducting thorough investigations to gain insight on the intellectual property claims
  • Managing multiple processes from various stake holders to ensure legal requirements are met appropriately

Requirements:

  • Proficient with technology, spreadsheets, CRM tools, and case management systems
  • Experience creating pivot summaries and performing VLOOKUP's in Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem solvingand investigational skills
  • Ability to working in a fast-paced environment; self-motivated, independent, and able to complete tasks with minimal oversight
  • Experience working in eCommerce
  • Experience with Intellectual Property, fraud/risk, or customer care experience preferred
