With moderate supervision, the Tax Manager is
responsible for supporting all areas of the
company’s corporate tax department in areas of tax return
compliance, income tax provision and financial reporting,
accounting processes and controls, and overall tax planning.

other departments throughout the organization.
What you’ll be
in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax
provisions under ASC 740 including preparation of related tax
disclosures for SEC reporting.
with federal and multi-state income tax filings and supporting
calculations, including estimates and extensions, and ensuring
other indirect tax filings including personal property tax,
franchise tax, and sales and use tax.
and respond to tax notices from federal, state, and local tax
with the company’s payroll function to ensure proper compliance
with payroll tax reporting obligations.
current knowledge of tax laws and financial and accounting
guidance, and stay current with new and developing tax legislation
having a tax impact on the company.
tax files and documentation are properly maintained for compliance
under SOX 404 regulations.
tax research and prepare technical memoranda on certain tax

other duties or complete special projects as assigned.
What you will need to be successful
- Knowledge of
corporate accounting as obtained through the completion of a
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required—with a Master’s degree
in Taxation preferred.
- An active
CPA license is also required.
- Minimum of 5
years of progressive tax experience in public accounting and/or a
corporate tax department.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills, high attention to
detail, and ability to manage multiple projects at

prioritize and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with
the broader team, including external advisors.
Ability to work professionally and responsibly in a confidential

- Proficiency with business and communications software (e.g.,
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, common Windows operating
systems, and Outlook) is required. A strong, hands-on knowledge of
tax research tools such as CCH is also required.
