For that reason, selling our products is a unique and exciting experience. Our winning selling model puts our products in the driver's seat while you highlight their innovative capabilities through demos and live walk throughs. Be prepared to "wow" customers during?proof-of-concept?presentations - a point in the process our Account?Executives?enjoy most. A salesperson who is?passionate about "the chase"?will thrive in this position at Proofpoint. As you're establishing pipeline and building trust with decision makers like CISOs and other company stakeholders, the opportunities to sell will skyrocket. Sales cycles are 7-9 months, selling through Value Added Resellers (VARs). At Proofpoint, protection starts with people, and we know investing in our employees from Day 1 is key to our success. As a new member of our team, you will participate in our sales training program designed to educate you on every aspect of our product suite and enable you to succeed. The support doesn't end once you've completed training; the Channel, SE, Sales Enablement, Marketing Strategic Operations teams will be by your side, ready to partner with you and make deals happen. In addition, you will have access to, and will use, valuable tools and systems such as Salesforce, Outreach and Seismic. Requirements?: * 3+ years sales experience selling into greenfield accounts. * Experience managing an entire sales cycle from start to finish. * Must have demonstrated ability to cold-call into prospective customers. * Proven experience selling to senior level management and/or executives engaging appropriate internal stakeholders.
