Job Description:
What does a Data Scientist do at Swire Coca-Cola? As Data
Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting world-class data
science and advanced analytics inclusive of modeling and AI/ML
techniques across all channels, customer and consumer segments,
markets, and products/categories. This role drives business value
via actionable analytics in conjunction with Insight Strategy and
Execution team. Key Responsibilities: Conducts analysis of data to
identify insights and actions that could benefit or mitigate
potential risks to the business. Develop predictive models via
machine learning methodologies for customer and consumer insights;
leverage analytics to provide input into a clear, relevant,
actionable, measurable, trusted view of the customer and consumer
to support business needs. Understands and can communicate the
effects of decisions to the business. Anticipates and explains the
effects of decisions to inform business-facing team and influence
key business partners. Understands the business and prioritizes
analytics needs including allocating resources, funds and vets
proposed analysis for high-impact or substantial projects affecting
the capability. Manages business expectations around prioritization
and provides transparency to the process. Executes work effectively
using established key processes. Maintains effective relationships
with the key stakeholders and participants. Understands the
dynamics of the processes and interests of the involved parties to
reach effective agreements and resolutions. Understands key
performance metrics (e.g., revenue and margin growth, consumer
loyalty improvements and process and execution efficiencies).
Qualifications: Advanced degree in STEM discipline (Science,
Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or related field required 8
years' experience in analytics, business, or related area 4 years'
project management experience 4 years' analytics, statistics and/or
database knowledge and experience (using tools, applications,
platforms, etc.) 2 years' executive leadership experience in a
consumer insights function for a global consumer-oriented
organization in retail, distribution, manufacturing, or a related
industry preferred World class predictive analytics skillset
including modeling, AI/ML, programming skills, and other advanced
techniques. Understands and effectively utilizes analytics systems,
databases, and tools. Proficient in R, Python, SQL, or other
programming language(s) Ability to identify new issues, trends, and
opportunities from data Written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service orientation Up to 25% travel with overnight
stays
