Accordingly, Bach is looking for a Construction Estimator / Purchaser who will buy-out multiple apartment/townhome projects with typically 250-400 units each.Purchaser Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assemble bid packages with all construction documents.
• Obtain and qualify all bids from subcontractors.
• Administer all contracts with subcontractors.
• Administer, negotiate, and implement all change order requests.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with a variety of people, including owners, managers, designers, supervisors, tradespersons, and craft workers.
• Infrequent travel may be required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
  
  Requirements:
  Purchaser Required Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Conflict-resolution skills.
  • Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and understand industry scopes of work.
  • College Degree or related experience in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
  • At least 2 of construction experience required. Preferably with multi-family construction.Benefits
