Summary
Because of its sustained growth, Bach is expanding its development team to pursue and construct several highly desirable multi-family projects. Accordingly, Bach is looking for a Construction Estimator / Purchaser who will buy-out multiple apartment/townhome projects with typically 250-400 units each.

Purchaser Duties/Responsibilities:

Assemble bid packages with all construction documents.
Obtain and qualify all bids from subcontractors.
Administer all contracts with subcontractors.
Administer, negotiate, and implement all change order requests.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
Develops and maintains good working relationships with a variety of people, including owners, managers, designers, supervisors, tradespersons, and craft workers.
Infrequent travel may be required.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Purchaser Required Skills/Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Conflict-resolution skills.
Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
Ability to read construction drawings and understand industry scopes of work.
College Degree or related experience in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
At least 2 of construction experience required. Preferably with multi-family construction.
