Bach Homes is seeking a full-time Tier II Systems Support
Specialist to join our corporate office. As a for a Utah-based
company, you will assist the primary IT contact for multiple remote
offices, as well as the corporate office. You will be responsible
for daily end-user support, maintaining and managing servers, and
facilitating and/or maintaining any projects that arise surrounding
IT as well as any other tasks assigned.
System Analyst Responsibilities:
- Work primarily at the corporate location on tickets and server
maintenance.
- Occasional travel to the multiple apartment communities to
resolve any issues.
- Provide IT training to individuals when required.
- Perform preventative maintenance on the servers and networking
equipment.
- Ensure backups are properly configured and functioning.
- Keep accurate inventory of computers and licensing
information.
- Facilitate hardware and software replacements to keep things
running smoothly.
- Primarily responsible for customer interaction and management
of infrastructure services
- Answers inbound employee requests
- Assist with maintenance of service SLAs
- Work with senior level admins to determine and resolve
high-level problems
- Management of production infrastructure hardware/software and
related technologies
- Identify & troubleshoot server configuration and/or performance
irregularities
- Develop procedures to respond to these irregularities in a
timely manner
- Ensure infrastructure is properly monitored
- Infrastructure alerts are addressed in a timely and thorough
manner
- Oversee the execution and completion of assigned tasks
- Document and improve existing processes Requirements:

- Web services, DNS, FTP, DHCP, IIS, Apache DHCP, VLAN, NAT,
etc
- Networking (Cisco, Sonicwall, TCP/IP)
- Hypervisor/Window Servers (VMWare/KVM/Hyper-V)
- MS Exchange/Office 365 and Azure AD)
- Firewall (Microsoft, IPTables, Cisco ASA, Sonicwall, HA pair
configurations)
- Microsoft Server, Linux, Ubuntu
- Backup tools, image builds and server recovery
- Enterprise IT support.
- Experience with Active Directory.
- Experience with VPNs (IPSec, SSL, etc.). A qualified candidate
will have:
- A proven track record identifying and championing appropriate
new technologies.
- Strong knowledge and experience in server, network, and
applications, and problem resolution.
- Proficiency in managing and prioritizing multiple
projects.
- Strong communications skills and ability to impart information
about our technologies.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills of familiar and unfamiliar
technologies alike.
- Flexibility to work on troubleshooting unfamiliar products
through the vendor or online documentation.
- Innovation skills and the ability to think out of the box.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including
interpersonal / customer service skills.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen
attention to detail.
- An exceptionally self-motivated work ethic and the ability to
set and manage priorities judiciously.
