Job Description:

Job Summary: In this role, you will plan, develop, design, coordinate, and review architectural work on large projects with unique requirements. You will prepare discipline estimates and work plans, review and approve design documents, interpret regulations, and assist with performance reporting. Your recommendations for resolving complex issues will help ensure client satisfaction with a project’s architectural aspects. In this role as Senior Architect, you will support the design for the project. This will entail originating/checking specifications, building code analyses, material requisitions, and technical studies or reports. Additionally, checking of design drawings and review and coordination of vendor information and leading technical discussions and constructability reviews. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Prior experience in facility design/layout and details, building code analyses, Revit modeling and renderings Experience with CADD applications, such as Revit Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Thorough knowledge of engineering deliverables, such as drawings, specifications, and material requisitions and construction methods Understands work processes of other disciplines and departments on projects Ability to express technical issues in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbally Ability to resolve design issues with subordinates, suppliers, other engineering disciplines, construction, and the client Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Architecture Prior experience working with government agencies Experience with procurement automation tools Thorough knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat specifications, or SpecsIntact Design experience with Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building Design Guide Position Details: Pay Rate / Range: $31.81- $68.85 The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
