Launch Support Systems (LSS). This position is based in Roy, UT,
and supports the Sentinel program. What You'll Get To Do: Lead and
execute Modeling, Simulation, & Analysis (MS&A) initiatives for
the LSS team. Develop high fidelity models that capture mechanical
loading and system level behavior. Create and run Multibody
Dynamics (MBD) simulations for flight operations hardware and
related test fixture configurations, covering rigid body, flexible
body, and deployment kinematics. Integrate MBD results with other
physics domains (e.g., flexible body stress predictions, thermal,
fluid) to improve overall fidelity. Correlate analytical models
with experimental data (vibration, modal, static tests) to validate
accuracy. Perform structural analysis studies (static, modal,
frequency response) to verify loads, stresses, deflections, fatigue
life, and safety margins versus material limits. Automate workflows
using MATLAB, Python, or comparable scripting tools for data
processing, model generation, and results correlation. Collaborate
cross functionally to align simulation efforts with program
milestones Provide design recommendations that optimize strength,
weight, and durability. Drive continuous improvement of simulation
methods and contribute to technical reviews, documentation, and
